It\u2019s always special to follow the development of a young horse\u2014and all the more rewarding when talent and careful training pay off right from the very first competition starts.<\/p>\n

BAS possesses many of the qualities one looks for in a young horse destined for high-level dressage: expressive movements, balance, elasticity, and a natural tendency to rise. Particularly striking are his active hindquarters and his good mechanics. At the same time, he shows a willingness to learn and is easy to ride\u2014qualities that are at least as important for the further training of a young dressage horse as the sheer quality of his movements.<\/p>\n

Interesting Spanish bloodlines<\/h4>\n

A look at his pedigree is also worthwhile. BAS is a grandson of the well-known Armas Tarugo from the Yeguada Armas. Furthermore, his pedigree includes Ermita\u00f1o III, bred by Miguel \u00c1ngel de C\u00e1rdenas (Escalera), another significant representative of PRE breeding.<\/p>\n

Thus, BAS combines traditional Spanish bloodlines with the athletic quality of a modern PRE.<\/p>\n

Step by Step Toward the Big Dressage Arena<\/h4>\n

BAS is currently being further trained by Juan Perez in Barcelona and is competing in shows. The focus is not on rapid training, but rather on solid development appropriate for his age. Step by step, he will be introduced to more challenging tasks and given the time to realize his full potential.<\/p>\n

His first appearances in competitive settings already show that BAS isn\u2019t just impressive at home. He\u2019s gaining valuable experience, performing well in the arena, and laying the foundation for his future in the sport.<\/p><\/div>\n
