Hanoverian licensing and auction 2025 – A review with mixed feelings

The 2025 Hanoverian licensing and auction of young stallions will remain unforgettable for us in many ways. We watched the presentation of our exceptional stallion Just Champagne with particular excitement – the only buckskin in the entire lot and therefore a real eye-catcher.

Despite his quality, charisma, and special charm, Just Champagne did not receive a positive licensing decision. This decision caused noticeable unrest among many spectators and even led to loud boos. Apparently, the Hanoverian Association is not yet ready to accept horses with unusual colors into its traditional breeding program.

But Just Champagne has once again proven that true quality finds its way. In a heated bidding war, he took center stage and was finally sold to the United Arab Emirates for an impressive €70,000.

We are incredibly proud of him.
All the best, Just Champagne, and congratulations to his former owner!

We will miss you – but we will definitely come and visit you. May your new path be as bright as your special color.
