Gold Meets Performance – A Very Special Palomino Yearling
Sometimes a young horse stands out from the crowd at first glance—and when that extraordinary appearance is backed by a highly intriguing athletic pedigree, things get especially exciting.
Our beautiful Palomino yearling by Quandide is exactly that kind of young horse. With his radiant golden coat and elegant appearance, he naturally draws everyone’s attention. But as extraordinary as his appearance may be, the real excitement lies in his pedigree.
His sire, Quandide, brings modern dressage horse quality to the table, while on the dam’s side stands a very special mare: DaminoSD, an S-level champion mare who competed successfully up to the advanced class. Thus, this young palomino does not simply come from an interesting mating, but from a dam who has impressively demonstrated her own ability in the sport.
Furthermore, Don Schufro—one of the great names in international dressage horse breeding—appears in the maternal lineage. This bloodline is synonymous with rideability, quality of movement, and a competitive spirit, providing this young horse with a correspondingly interesting genetic foundation.
Even today, this yearling presents himself as an exceptionally harmonious and elegant young horse. He is a modern type with beautiful lines, expression, and that natural presence that cannot be bred simply by focusing on a particular coat color.
And that is exactly what makes him so fascinating to us: here, the extraordinary Palomino coat color meets a consistently performance-oriented dressage pedigree.
Of course, a yearling still has his entire development ahead of him. No one can predict today where his path will lead. But the potential he’s been given makes us curious about the future.
A golden youngster with a sporting heritage, a performance-tested dam, and a pedigree that has far more to offer than just an extraordinary color.
We are very excited to see how this special young horse will develop in the coming years.
